Reviewing Vocabulary in Lessons and on The Vocabulary Page

How do I adjust the status of multiple terms in my list?

Use the tick boxes at left to select all the terms you want to adjust. Then select your desired action from the "More actions" dropdown. You can either increase or decrease the Status by 1, move the terms directly to Known, or delete them.

*Note: You must be a Basic, Plus or Premium member to use the batch delete feature.

Recommended use of SRS Vocabulary review

If you are using LingQ primarily to review lists of vocabulary words, you will not reach your language goals as quickly as you'd like to. Sometimes it feels productive to spend hours doing flashcards and trying to memorize words, but trust us. This is not the path to fluency.

Instead, we recommend a few different methods:

  1. Review vocabulary as you page in the LingQ Reader.
  2. Review LingQs from individual lessons after completing the lesson.
  3. Use tags to review specific vocabulary words 3-4 times weekly for 15 minutes each.

You should spend at least 90% of your time on LingQ listening and reading. The remaining time should be spent writing and correcting others' writing, speaking, and practicing vocabulary.

That's it! These are the functions of LingQ. You can continue to meet people on the forum, explore new content, and personalize all your settings to make LingQ custom to your needs.
